He is here, he is here, he is here!!!

Announcing the birth of Reed Lawrence Smith, on April 6, 2011 at 4:12 pm, weighing 8 lbs 9 oz and measuring 20.75 inches long. Elise was a trooper and did not even require the services of an epidural or other pain medications. We arrived at St. Mary's Medical Center at 8 am for a labor induction. Both Elise and Reed are doing great! Below are a few pictures of our new addition.

Thanks for the pictures! We're happy that he's here and everyone is doing well. Hopefully we'll still make it out on Saturday to see him; Andrew's been wheezy today so he's on a nebulizer every 4 hours and an oral steroid. But either way, congrats! We love you!

I can't believe I haven't posted anything on your blog yet! One might get the impression that I don't check it periodically for updates. And that impression would be incorrect.

Anywho, we're so excited for you and your little boy! Don't hate me for not being able to remember, but I don't think we got him anything last time we were out. Maybe we did? Just to be on the safe side, we better send something. Any requests? Are there sizes of clothes you have too much of or are in need of? Or would you prefer diapers? Remember, honesty is the best policy. If I'm going to send something (which I am) you might as well get something you need/want. No, I can't send a nanny. But wouldn't that be awesome? You can text me or facebook me.
